Vi kan alle sammen godt lide at være komfortable og rart klædt på, men hvordan gør man det når man også gerne vil se “stilet” ud? Det spurgte jeg mig selv om da jeg planlagde de januar outfits jeg gerne ville dele med jer. Januar er lidt en underlig måned. Alt det skønne julelys er pillet ned og det er som om der ikke er så meget at se frem til lige nu (ferie mæssigt anyway). Egentlig venter man bare lidt på det bliver forår. Eller er det bare mig? Så – hvorfor ikke gøre januar til en af de måneder hvor man går ekstra op i sit tøj? Det gør ihvertfald altid mig glad at føle mig velklædt. Det her fantastiske teddy tekstil er en af mine helt store favoritter for tiden. Det er super varmt og hyggeligt at have på og så bringer det så mange dejlige minder tilbage fra alverdens tøjdyr jeg havde da jeg var barn. Det ret fantastisk. Derudover er det også lige pludselig blevet et stilet tekstil at rocke, man kan få det i alverdens afskygninger hos alverdens brands lige nu. Jeg valgte at være rimelig “top heavy” i det her look men med balance fra skoene som matcher i samme farve. Tasken er fra Zac Posen og nederdelen er en god investering fordi den nærmest kan bruges hele året rundt. God fornøjelse!

english: We all like to be comfy and cozy, but how can you be comfy and cozy yet still look “together”? That was the question I asked myself as I was planning what to style for you here on the blog in January. January is a tough month, all the beautiful Christmas lights are down and there aren’t much to look forward to (holiday wise anyway) and you are kinda just waiting for spring to happen. Or is that just me? So – why not make January one of your best dressed months? Dressing great makes me happy, I can tell you that much. Teddy fabric is a current obsession of mine, it’s so warm but I also kinda loves how it brings back childhood memories of various stuffed animals. It’s kinda great. And on top of that, teddy has suddenly become a cool thing to wear which means you can get it at various brands in various styles. For this look I choose to go top heavy but color coordinated at the bottom so the look wouldn’t tilt. The bag is from Zac Posen and the mini skirt is a great investment because it can be used almost year around. Enjoy!

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS 2018

Nogen synes at det der med nytårsfortsæt er noget fis, nogen synes de er fantastiske. De giver folk håb om et bedre år forude. Min mening er at nytårsfortsæt er en god ting. De giver folk lyst til at give året en ekstra skalle, for at gøre det til det bedste år nogensinde eller indtil videre. Om man holder dem, er op til en selv. Jeg har faktisk aldrig rigtig lavet nytårsfortsæt før. Men jeg tænker det nok har noget at gøre med min alder at gøre. Da jeg var teenager tænkte jeg ikke så meget over et nyt år som en ny start. Det var jo bare et nyt år? Men jeg kan godt se fordelene nu. Det er godt at have nogle kortsigtede mål at arbejde hen imod. SÅ uden ydereligere forsinkelser, her er mine 5 nytårsfortsæt;

english: Some people think resolutions are nothing but rubbish, some think resolutions are amazing. They give people hope for the new year and in my opinion, I think it’s nice people want to make an effort in making it their best year so far or maybe their best year ever. If they last or not, is up to the individual. I have never done the whole “resolutions” thing. But I think that might have something to do with my age. When I was a teenager I didn’t think much about years as a new start. A year was just a year you know? But I see the advantage now. It’s nice to have some short term goals to work towards. SO with that in mind, I have decided to share my 5 new years resolutions. Here we go;

1. 365 selfies
I have decided to do a little personal project in 2018. I am going to take 1 selfie a day for all the days of 2018. Maybe I will carry it into 2019 as well. Nobody knows. But I want to do it because I’d love to see the development we go through in a year. I think it could be magnificent.

2. Eat less meat
I NEVER thought I would write this. Ever. Because I absolutely LOVE meat. I don’t think I have ever ordered something vegetarian in my life. But I have come to realize that meat is not all that really good for you or the environment. So I have decided to eat less meat, not cut it out of my diet entirely but I will treat meat like I treat candy. All in moderation.

3. Out and about
My friends will nod agreeingly as I state this. I am not a going out person. I don’t really go to parties or to clubs or out for drinks. I never have. But I want to change that. In 2018 I will try to be more social and actually attend some of those fabulous parties I am often invited to!

4. Run forrest run
I hate running, I really do. Actually I just hate being active in general. A brisk walk? No thanks. A little hour at the gym? I don’t think so. But running is good for my mind. It clears my head and I need that, living the way I do. I work more hours than I should and travel a lot so I am thinking that running would be a good way for me to calm my stress levels when it all gets a little too much.

5. Put down the phone
Now this is a tough one. Putting down the phone. Fear of missing out much? Actually it’s not so hard for me but I feel that it is hard for my surroundings when I put down my phone. Living in a technical age like we do, it’s hard for other people to understand when you need a break. “Why aren’t you picking up your phone?”, “it took you hours to respond to my text messages”, “you havn’t put anything on instagram today” – is only some of the things I hear if I dare put my phone down for a day. But in 2018, I want to be better at putting myself first, cause sometimes you just really need a break.

Denne December har jeg været særlig glad for at mixe tone i tone. Jeg elsker camel farvet outfits og nyder særligt at bruge dem i de kolde måneder. Jeg synes det lyser så fint op mellem alt det grå og sorte. Og så er jeg faktisk ret vild med at rende rundt og ligne en stor flødekaramel. Det er der ingen skam i. Tasken er Lauras og øreringene er fra Topshop. Jeg er vild med de forskellige former og den nærmest rav farvet plastisk de er lavet i. Fanme fint altså. God jul meget snart alle sammen!

english: This December I have been especially loving making tone in tone outfits. I love a good camel color and love to do a whole outfit in it. Especially in the colder months, it’s almost like being a beam of light in a sea of black and grey. And to be honest, I kinda enjoy walking around looking like a big piece of fudge. No shame in that. Det nærmest obligatoriske, klassiske og evigt smukke julelook. Jeg bliver aldrig træt af at lave det her look. Det gør mig både glad at lave men også at have på. Det er det makeup look jeg føler mig smukkest i og jeg nyder at kysse alle dem jeg elsker og efterlade store, røde kyssemunde på dem. Jeg har lavet en step by step guide herunder på engelsk, til dig der ønsker at rocke en ægte klassiker her i julen. Den er lidt lang men man siger jo også at julen vare længe. God fornøjelse!

english: Here is the almost mandatory, classic and forever beautiful Christmas look. I never get tired of doing this look. It makes me happy both to do and to wear. It’s probably the look I feel the most beautiful wearing and I love kissing my loved ones and leaving big, red kissing lips all over them. I have made a step by step guide down below for those who wish to rock a true classic this Christmas. It’s a bit long but so is Christmas, or so i’ve heard. Enjoy!

STEP 1
SKIN

Step 1 is definitely not to be messed with or slack on! The skin is the canvas that holds the look, any makeup look! I start with a glowing base by mixing Marc Jacobs’ dewy drops with the excellent YSL primer. When massaged into the skin, I apply my True Match foundation in shade 1.5 N. Perfect for my fair complexion. Then I finish with concealer under my eyes, on the bridge of my nose and in my cupids bow.

STEP 2
BLUSH AND HIGHLIGHT

Step 2 is here to celebrate that glow and those rosy apple cheeks. For this look I use a very crisp highlighter in a nearly white shade. It’s almost pearly on the skin and therefore goes perfectly with the frosty weather outside. For a little warmth in the face, I use a blush stick from Sephora. It’s great to keep in your purse and can be used on both cheeks and lips!

STEP 3
EYES
Chubby stick / Clinique (shop here), Gel liner / L’oréal Paris (shop here), Liquid liner / Wet n’ Wild, Mascara / L’oréal Paris (shop here)

Step 3 is focused on the eyes. The eyes is just as much a key feature for this looks as the lips are. This winged liner and golden lid, signals serious Hollywood vibes. I start by using a beautiful gold toned chubby stick from Clinique. On top of that I use L’oréal Paris’ genius gel liner in the blackest of black. I like to draw my lines using a gel liner before I apply my liquid liner. It gives a nice base for the liquid liner to glide on top of. To finish the look I use my absolute favorite mascara, the volume million lashes in fatale! It’s the best and perfectly dramatic for this festive look.

STEP 4
LIPS
Lipliner / NYX (shop here), Lipstick / Guerlain (shop here)

Step 4 is important! It’s our red base for the lips. I always start with lipliner. I like this one from NYX. It’s creamy and comes in a lovely deep red. It’s a bit darker than the lipstick which gives a nice effect to the look. The lipstick is from the french luxury brand, Guerlain and is nothing short of amazing. The packaging is very beautiful and the color is intense. Stays on for hours. Apply it as you would any other lipstick, just be sure to “fill out” the lines from the lip liner.

STEP 5
POWDER & GLOSS

Step 5 is the most crucial step for this look. The setting and glossing of the Christmas lips. After you have applied a generous amount of lipstick you take your transluscent powder and shower your lips. It’s totally okay that it looks like you were caught eating powdered donuts. Let it sit for a while. Really let the powder sink into the lipstick. I use the true match powder from L’oréal Paris. It’s velvet soft and easy to work with which makes it perfect for this task. Dust off your lips using a large, soft powder brush. You will now have totally matte lips and they will be completely smudge proof. Now it’s time for the finishing touch, the lip paint. Apply a generous amount on top of your matte lips and smack your lips together along the way so you get the look you want!

Nok har jeg lavet en guide til hvad du kan give kvinderne i dit liv, men mange af os har også mange dejlige mænd i vores liv og de skal også have lækre gaver. Jeg har f.eks. både en far, en bedstefar og ikke mindre end 3 brødre. Så lidt herre julegave indkøb er vist også på sin plads. Udover gucci loafers, Wegner stole og lækre musik gadgets – så husk også at mange mænd (særligt fædre) bliver også meget glade for god vin og andre ting de kan komme i maven. Så hvis du er super sent ude med julegave shopping er der altid den dyre afdeling i Kvickly! Så må man flotte sig lidt. Ellers er der som sagt heroven over lidt inspiration til hvad du kan give mændene i dit liv. God fornøjelse.

SÅ blev det endelig min tur til at få fingrene i de eftertragtede læbestifter fra L’oréal Paris x Balmain samarbejdet! Jeg var lige ved at vælte postmanden da jeg så han havde “pakken” med til mig! Grunden til at jeg har glædet mig så meget til at skrive om disse produkter er ikke blot at emballagerne er flotte eller farverne er nye eller at det er ikoniske Olivier Rousteing der personligt har været inde over kollektionen. Selvom det selvfølgelig ikke er dårligt. Nej det er budskabet bag samarbejdet som jeg synes er vigtigt. Som i efterhånden ved så er L’oréal Paris kendt for at stikke en lap i vejret og kræve svar på de spørgsmål samfundet stiller. Problem stillinger skal italesættes og ikke mindst løses. L’oréal Paris x Balmain samarbejdet er bygget op et værdifællesskab som berøre fashion såvel som beauty, nemlig at der skal gøres op med konventionelle skønhedsfordomme. Diversitet skal hyldes og iscenesættes! Og det bliver det i sandhed her. Olivier Rousteing har med sin Balmain Army, længe sat fokus på skønhedsdiversitet, og hylder et bredere spektrum af kvinder. Dette budskab ses tydeligt igennem dette samarbejde med L’oréal Paris hvor der er farver til alle hudnuancer, farver til alle temperamenter, farver til alle typer kvinder. Som i kan se på billederne, er der 3 forskellige slags indpakning. De repræsentere 3 såkaldte “tribes” som jeg vil gennemgå nedenfor på engelsk, (så kan alle være med). Jeg har valgt mine 3 favoritter fra de 3 forskellige tribes ovenfor på billederne, dem jeg synes passer til den kvinde jeg er. En støvede taupe, en modig lilla og en dyb blå. Jeg var meget spændt på at få dem mellem fingrene og prøve dem på mig selv. Særligt den blå fra rock kollektionen har jeg haft mit øje på længe. Jeg ved ikke hvorfor men blå læbestift har jeg altid fundet vanvittigt sejt. På grund af mine egen læbefarve og nuancen af lige præcis denne blå blev mine læber næsten blå sorte. Den skal helt sikkert rockes til alverdens fester mellem jul og nytår, jeg elsker en næsten sort læbe og den blå farve er en fantastisk overraskelse i et makeup look. Måske jeg er en rock tribe chick. Jeg ved det ikke men jeg ved at vi alle er “worth it”. Så rock dine blå, pink, orange, brune eller røde læber. Bare vær den du er!

english: So, finally, it’ my turn to get my hands on the very wanted lipsticks from the L’Oréal Paris x Balmain collaboration! I almost knocked over the postman when I saw he had “the package” for me! The reason why I am so excited to write about this collaboration is not just that the packaging is beautiful or the new colors or because of the fact that it’s the iconic Olivier Rousteing that has been personally involved with this collection. Though, of course, that’s not bad. At all. No, it’s the message of this collaboration that’s important. As you probably know by now, L’oréal Paris are not the ones to keep quiet. They demand answers to the questions society ask. Problems must be solved and so L’oréal solves them. The L’oréal Paris x Balmain partnership is built from the same problem that affects fashion as well as beauty. We want to stand up to conventional beauty prejudices. Diversity must be shouted from the rooftops and celebrated! And so it will be. With his Balmain Army, Olivier Rousteing has celebrated beauty diversity, and welcomes a wider range of women. This message is clear through this collaboration with L’Oréal Paris. There are colors for all skin colors, colors for all temperaments, colors for all types of women. As you can see in the pictures, there are 3 different types of packaging. They represent 3 so-called “tribes” which I will go over below. I have chosen my 3 favorites shades from the 3 different tribes in the pictures above. Those I think fit the kind of woman I am. A dusty taupe, a brave purple and a deep blue. I was very excited to try them for myself. Especially the blue from the rock collection, I have had my eye on that one for a long time. I do not know why but I’ve always found a blue lipstick crazy cool. Because of my own lip color and the nuance of this blue, my lips became almost blueish black. I am definitely going to rock this color to a Christmas party or two. I love an almost black lip and the blue color is a wonderful surprise in a makeup look. Maybe I am a rock tribe chick. I don’t know, but I do know that we are all “worth it”. So rock your blue, pink, orange, brown or red lips. Just be who you are!

TRIBES

I dag vil jeg dele noget med jer som står mit hjerte nær! Nemlig det at dele tøj med sin kæreste. Hvilket i min verden er vanvittig genialt! Ikke nok med at man på den måde kan anskaffe sig flere ting men man har måske også råd til en lidt dyrere og lækker ting! Sebastian og jeg er heldige i den forstand at vi er ret meget samme størrelse. Vi er næsten lige høje, har nogenlunde lige lange arme osv. Sebastian er dog en del bredere end mig henover skulderne og brystet (thank god) – så vi er ikke begge en small (thank god igen). Jeg er normalt en small/medium og Sebastian er en medium/large. Derfor kan vi sagtens dele items som jakker, hættetrøjer og t-shirts. Så det gør vi! Her er et eksempel på en af vores mange dele jakker. Vi har dog lånt den i 2 eksemplarer ellers er det jo bare mig i en jakke og Sebastian uden. Det går ikke rigtig. Jakken er lidt stor i det, derfor passer vi den begge fint i medium. På sebastian sidder den perfekt og på mig er den lidt oversize hvilket jeg synes passer rigtig godt til jakkens look. Vi burde alle dele mere, det er også bedre for planeten skal i huske! Hvem end der får sin kæreste til at købe et par “dele” glitter støvler skal lige smide mig en mail, så sender jeg sgu blomster! God fornøjelse!

english: Today I am going to share something with you that’s very close to my heart. And that is to share clothing items with ones boyfriend. Which to me is beyond genius! Not only is it then possible to have more clothes but it is also an opportunity to buy something a little more expensive because you are two to split the bill. Sebastian and I are lucky in the way that we are pretty much the same size. We are almost the same height, our arms are roughly the same length ect. But Sebastian is quite larger in the chest area and broader over the shoulders than I am (thank god) and we are not both a size small (thank god for that too). I normally wear a size small/medium and Sebastian wears a size medium/large. Thats why we can easily share items like jackets, hoodies and t-shirts. So that we do! Above you see an example of one of our many “shared jackets”. Of course for this particular post we have borrowed an extra one, otherwise it would be me in a jacket and Sebastian without one. Which wouldn’t make much sense I’m afraid. The jacket is slightly big in size therefore we can easily share a medium. It fit’s me oversize (which goes great with the style of the jacket) while it fits Sebastian perfectly. Win win! We should all share more, it’s also better for the planet! Btw; who ever get’s their boyfriend to buy a “shared” pair of glitter boots, e-mail me, I will send you flowers! Enjoy!

Gå i seng med din Sephora shea hårmaske på. Ta et bad om morgenen og brug Kiehl’s oile – til – skum cleanser. Den er vidunderlig. Tilfør lidt “holiday glam” ved at bruge L’oréal Paris’ paradise mascara og gør den ekstra særlig ved at bruge lidt guld mascara fra YSL beauty oven på. Lidt kinderødt, parfume, gylden body olie og så er du klar. Klar til at dans aftenen væk til alverdens fester. YUM! God fornøjelse.

As I started to collect the products I wanted to show you this holiday season, I quickly noticed a slight gold pattern. And so I went from there. Gold everywhere! Popped out to buy an orange background and ta-da! Christmas faves right in time. I went for a more pampering orientated collection of favorites this year. Body pampering in particular. Go to sleep wearing the shea hairmask from Sephora and the honey mask from too cool for school, on your face. Shower in the morning and use the oil – to – foam body cleanser from Kiehl’s. It’s divine. For a little holiday glam apply the paradise mascara from L’oréal Paris but top it of with a dash of gold from the new gold mascara from YSL beauty. Blush, perfume and off you to. Perfectly glowing from that golden body oil and ready to party the night away. YUM! Enjoy!

Jeg har givet formidlingen “hverdags uniform” en del tanker på det sidste. Hvorfor er der nogle ting i vores garderobe som vi har tendenser til at bruge mere end andre? Ting vi bruger når vi ingenting skal eller når vi ikke rigtig tænker over hvad vi tager på. Det er som om der er lidt et mønster. Jeg har vist de samme tendenser i mange år. For mig er min hverdags uniform en blanding af noget jeg føler mig godt til pas i og noget jeg synes jeg ser godt ud (men afslappet) i. Det er ihvertfald helt sikkert, at jeg er en af dem der “underdresser”. Jeg tror faktisk at det, stilmæssigt, er den største forskel på Laura og jeg. Hun har tendens til at give den lidt for meget og jeg har tendens til at give den lidt for lidt. Men jeg har nu lært at når man endelig kender sit mønster så skal man også tage godt imod det og værne om det. Og med det mener jeg at man skal købe nogle rigtig lækre, solide items som støtter op om ens hverdags uniform så man i det mindste altid føler sig godt tilpas når man endelig tager den nemme vej, udenom klædeskabets mange udfordringer. Min hverdags uniform er som vist på billederne, jeans, en hoodie, sneakers, en eller anden form for kort skåret jakke og en kasket. Jeg har det for det meste på hvis jeg skal rundt i byen og hente ting, handle, i lufthavnen eller ud og gå en søndagstur. Altid det samme. Jeg mixer det selvfølgelig fra tid til anden med forskellige items fra min garderobe men det er det samme look. Så det her er min kvalitets bevidste udgave af min hverdags uniform. Hvordan ser din hverdags uniform ud?

english: I have given the term “everyday uniform” a lot of thought. Why is there some things that we always tend to wear more than other things? When we are doing nothing or we don’t think about what we throw on too much, there always seems to be a pattern. I have shown the same pattern for many years. For me it’s a mixture of what I feel comfortable in and what, I think, I look good (but casual) in. I am definitely an “underdresser” more and I am a “overdresser”. That’s a fact. I think that’s actually the biggest difference, style wise, between Laura and I. She has a tendency of going over the top and I have a tendency of going under the bar. But I have also come to realize that if you know your pattern, you should also acknowledge and embrace it. And by embrace it I mean, buy some really good items that support your “throw on” tendency so you always feel good when you actually take the “easy way out”. My everyday uniform or “easy way out” is jeans, a hoodie, sneaks, some sort of cropped jacket and a cap. It’s mostly what I wear if I am running errands, going to the airport or taking a sunday walk. Always the same. Although I mix it up with different items from time to time, it’s the same look. So here is my quality version of my everyday uniform. What does your everyday uniform look like?

Julen er tid til forkælelse, ikke forkølelse men forkælelse. Om det er forkælelse til dig selv eller til nogen du holder af så er denne måned, perfekt til netop dette. Jeg har samlet en lille bunke godter til jer derude som endnu ikke ved hvad i skal købe til damerne i jeres liv. Det er en blanding af ting jeg selv ønsker mig (hint hint blå Vetements støvler, please!) og ting som jeg ville give mine veninder, min mor eller andre seje kvinder i mit liv. Jeg synes b.la. at bogen “I fought the law” er en über cool gave at give en som elsker USA og en cashmere sovemaske eller en lækker pyjamas kan man sgu aldrig gå helt galt i byen med. Husk at indpakningen er næsten lige så vigtig som det der er inden i! God fornøjelse og happy shopping!

english: Christmas is the time to spoil and be spoiled. Whether you are spoiling yourself or someone you love, December is a perfect time to do it! I have collected a little gathering of awesome things for you out there who still doesn’t know what to give the lovely ladies in your life. It’s a mixture of things I am wishing for myself (wink wink blue Vetements boots, please!) and things I would gift my girlfriends, my mom or other awesome ladies in my life. I especially think that the book “I fought the law” is a super cool gift to someone who loves the US and a cashmere sleeping mask or a silk PJ is something everyone loves!
