Efter at have planlagt det her outfit og hængt det op derhjemme havde jeg glædet mig til at vise det til Sebastian, fordi han altid har sådan en god mening om tøj. Jeg tog det på og kom ud i stuen, helt stolt og så siger han til mig; “du ligner en pirat, en moderne pirat, men en pirat.” Og jeg blev så glad fordi jeg lige præcis havde prøvet på at lave en moderne fortolkning på sørøver outfittet. Der var ualmindeligt stort sørøver tema på catwalken sidste sæson så jeg ville se om jeg kunne lave en efterår/vinter udgave og voilas – jeg ligner en moderne pirat (lag på lag selvfølgelig), mission accomplished! english: After having planned this outfit and having hung it at home I had been looking forward to showing it to him because he always has such a great opinion on clothes. I put it on, walked into the living room, all proud, and then he goes; “you look like a pirate, a modern one, but a pirate.” And I was so happy because that was exactly what I was trying to achieve. I wanted to do a modern version of the pirat outfit. The pirate tendencies were all over last seasons catwalk so I wanted to see if I could make a autumn / vinter friendly version with of layers and voila! Mission accomplished. Min første tutorial i laang tid, jeg følte det var på tide! Jeg elsker at lave step by step makeup guides men det er enormt tidskrævende og ofte noget jeg udsætter MEN nu skulle det være. Her er mit efterårs makeup look som jeg har glædet mig til at vise jer, der vil være links under hvert produkt billede så i kan finde produkterne direkte. Step 1 Here using: Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer by Marc Jacobs beauty (shop here)
Start with a clean face, however you rinse or cleanse this should be done already. Prep the face by using a primer. I use the under(cover) coconut primer by Marc Jacobs beauty, it’s light, smells wonderful and really makes the foundation blend in with the skin.

Born to glow highlighter by NYX cosmetics (shop here)
The people behind Marc Jacobs beauty says that one dot of foundation should be enough to cover your whole face. I agree with that statement very much, this is very high coverage so be aware not to fill your palm and just smear it on. I always mix my foundation / CC cream / BB cream (or whatever) with just a little bit of liquid highlighter – it gives a very natural glow to the face! I love to use my hands when applying my base, this is optional of course. My shade is ivory 12.

“Two different concealers you say?” No not at all, it’s totally optional, I just like using a lighter and a darker shade to add more definition to my face. Any concealer you know and love is totally fine!

Contour and highlight, some say this is the most important step of all. I love a good contour and highlight although I am probably doing it a little differently than others. I like to use a shiny contour instead of a matte one. Others tend to do it the other way around as the mat contour will then make the highlight pop even more but I love how the two highlighters (although different shades) lift each other up and creates a shiny, dewy and beautiful finish to the face. I used “summer” for my highlight and “bronzed” for the contour.

The step that makes the face! In my opinion. Before I knew how to do my brows I knew nothing at all (very dramatic by true!). I usually out draw the lines of the shape of brow I want that day and then I coat them with clear gel. The lash genius by Anastasia Beverly Hills is actually not even for the brows, it’s for your lashes, to make your mascara stay in place. But you see, I didn’t know that the first time I used it so I put it on my brows and went on with my day. I was outside and it started raining but my brows didn’t go anywhere because this baby is waterproof! Wuhu! Never wearing anything else.

I like to use a brown liquid liner for my winged eyeliner as it softens the look, especially when being very light like me it can be very harsh to wear all black. I line my waterline, for bigger and brighter eyes, with my favorite kohl liner in nude.

One of the best mascaras I have ever tired, by far! Easy to work with, easy to apply (and it applies a lot, which I love!).

I always apply my eyeshadow after applying my mascara because I always make a horrified mess. For this look I wanted the lids to be warm and smokey. I used the pink shade in the inner corners of my eyes and the taupe color for my crease and outer corners of my eyes. It’s subtle, everyday friendly but still add’s some sass to this otherwise classic look.

I have to hand it too him, the Marc guy sure makes a lot of mesmerizing nude lipsticks. Besides carrying an amazing color range, the lipstick it self is beyond yummy! It’s creamy, light textured but super pigmented, LOVE! Jeg synes det er dejligt at have en palette at arbejde rundt om når en ny sæson kommer. Sidste efterår var jeg helt fortabt i dyb flaske grøn, jeg købte alt i det! Solbriller, frakker, bukser, tasker – det hele. Denne sæson er jeg vild med denne bruge, beige, grå farvelade forvirring, heldigvis kan man også få alting i den! Det er som om grå og brun har fået en baby! Jeg er særligt vild med denne farve fordi den klæder virkelig mange, jeg vil næsten gå så langt som at sige alle. OG så er den tidsløs – fantastisk.
english: I love to have a pallet to work around when the seasons change, last fall I loved the deep bottle green. I got everything in it, sunglasses, coats, pants, bags – whatever! This season I am super into this grey beige brown situation that you see above. Luckily it comes in about everything this season and it’s beautiful! It’s like grey and brown had a baby, I love it! I am especially crazy about this color because it suits so many, dare I say all? AND it’s timeless – amazing.

På en lille smal gade i Paris, inde bag en stor port ligger verdens nok mest charmerende showroom. Dette showroom tilhøre Dorothee Schumacher, en kvinde jeg længe gerne har ville møde. Jeg elsker hendes tøj, det er den bedste kvalitet og så er hun hammer dygtig til prints. Faktisk mødte jeg Dorothee før jeg nåede hen til min aftale hos hende, Laura og jeg sad udenfor efter en anden aftale og så kom den her smukke, elegante dame hen til os for at komplimentere Lauras sko og vi spurgte hende hvor hendes frakke var fra. Den var lang, i ruskind og sart rosa (OH!). Hun svarede “oh tak, den er fra Dorothee Schumacher” og vi svarede “ej hvor sjovt, der skal vi hen i dag!”. Senere den samme dag kom vi ind i showroomet og der stod hun igen, den flotte høje dame og så var det sgu hende! Dorothee herself! Kollektionen var smuk, sammenhængende og hun var sjov og unik at være i selskab med. Jeg glæder mig til at vise jer mere fra hendes kollektion.
english: On a small street in Paris, behind a big wooden gate is, probably, the most charming showroom in the world. This showroom belongs to Dorothee Schumacher, a woman I have wanted to meet for so long. I love her clothes, its the best quality and she is so talented with prints. Actually I met Dorothee, that same day, just earlier. Laura and I were sitting outside another appointment when this beautiful, stylish woman came up to us and complimented Laura on her shoes, we told her we loved her coat, it was suede, elegant and a delicate shade of rose (LOVE!). She answered “oh thank you, it’s Dorothee Schumacher” and we said “oh thats funny we are going there today!”, and we went on with our day. Later the same day we went to the showroom and there she was again, the same lady and it was Dorothee herself! The collection was beautiful, coherent and she was witty and unique company. I look forward to showing you more from her collection.

Jeg har tidligere snakket meget om den der liste jeg har over ting jeg gerne vil eje inden jeg er 30 og nu kan jeg endelig krydse endnu et item af, nemlig en klassisk Max Mara frakke i camel. Jeg har altid set meget op til kvinder med klassisk stil og er også vokset op med forbilleder som har meget klassisk stil så en Max Mara frakke har længe været noget jeg har ønsket mig. For mig har en frakke som denne ingen alder. Du bestemmer selv hvilket udtryk den skal have og den klæder en kvinde på 25 såvel som en kvinde på 65. Verdens smukkeste frakke, check!
english: I have talked a lot about my “list” here on the blog. The list that holds all the things I would like in my life before I am 30. Finally another item is crossed of the list! A classic Max Mara coat in camel. I have always looked up the women with a classic style, I have also been surrounded by women in classic clothing my entire life so this type of coat has been on my wishlist for long! To me, this coat has no age. You can wear this as a 25 year old woman as well as a 65 year old woman. Worlds most beautiful coat, check!

Efterårets farver er min yndlings palette. Rød, gul, mørkgrøn og brun ligger sig som et tæppe hen over verden. Bladene bliver til guld og giver os et stort knus som de falder. Når guldet bliver mixet med det røde og det brune bliver det til sin helt egen, en helt fantastiske rosa, et af mine yndlings metaller til smykker. Grunden til dette er at den rosa nuance ikke er snobbet, det går smukt i spænd med både sølv og guld og så er det næsten endnu smukkere for sig selv. Særligt når det er mixet med lidt af det der glimter, jeg er vild med hvordan rosa får de små sten til at danse! Følg links’ne ovenfor for selv at få lidt efterårs farver i dit smykkeskrin!
english: Fall is my favorite color pallet, red, yellow, dark green and brown embraces the world. The leaves almost turn to gold and covers the land with grace. I love fall, it looks so good on everybody. When the gold in the nature is mixed with all the reds and browns it sometimes look exactly like rose metallics, on of my jewelry favorites. The reason why is that the rose tone is not a snob, it can be mixed with silver and gold or alone, either way it looks beautiful! Ih hvor har jeg glædet mig til at dele dette opslag med jer! Jeg har altid drømt om en dag at få lov at vise jer hvordan jeg bor men da jeg på ingen måde er bolig fotograf (det er ikke et nemt job!) har jeg synes det er svært. Så da jeg blev kontaktet af Houzz, som spurgte om jeg havde lyst til at vise mit hjem frem sagde jeg med det samme JA! This shirt has quite wide ties which makes it perfect for a “flat lay” as I like to call it. Simply smooth down the ties in front of you (make sure it’s ironed). It can be worn over a dress, a sweater vest, a cardigan or on it’s own. I know you are never supposed to give up the best in the front, but this is definitely my favorite way to style this shirt. I think its different, classic and quite cool.
THE NECKERCHIEF
Inspo from the gentlemens department indeed. You know those men who doesn’t wear a tie but like a little cloth around their neck but under the shirt? It’s apparently called a neckerchief and that’s where this styling option comes from. Simply tuck the ties into the dress (or whatever you are styling with) and “puff it up” a bit to create some volume.
OVERSIZED BOWTIE
Not a hard one to figure out, I know, but it’s silly and unexpected. An oversized bowtie is the way to go if you are feeling brave and too cute for the business look. There’s not much too it, make a twist with the ties and make sure it’s same size on both sides. Kinda reminds me of the ones clowns wear, the cute clowns (not the scary ones!)

I love a good styling creme, I think it can really “make” a look. Shiny and weightless, anti frizz and easy to work with. I love to use this product when rocking a high ponytail or defined curls. Sebastian professional has launched this collection in collaboration with the iconic tattoo artist Maxime Büchi who is the man behind the beautiful packaging in the photo. Maxime Büchi has worked with iconic brands like Alexander McQueen and Rick Owens, according to Vogue he is one of the worlds most influential tattoo artists. I love when two different worlds meet like this, you both get the best Sebastian products and beautiful design by an amazing artist. Big high five from me!
2. Anastasia Beverlyhills, Brush #3

This little fella is my newest best friend, I use it for everything. First I was like, “this is too small to use for anything?” But now I use it for my eyeliner, eyeshadow in the crease and to clean up my brow liner with concealer. I absolutely love it.
3. Pañpuri, Hydration masque

Hypo-allergenic, dermatologically tested and 100% pure plant actives with essential oils. It smells like a spa dream and the packaging is to die for. It’s fragrance free, basically pure good and it gives a healthy glow to the skin, perfect!
4. Shu Uemura, Round brush (shop here)
I have started blowdrying my hair a lot which have given me the chance to explore different brushes. I love a good flat brush but it really gives a whole other look when I use a round brush. This one from Shu Uemura has a handy grip and is a good size. Sometimes the brushes become too big, like it wasn’t hard enough to blow dry ones own hair already?!
5. Estelle & Thild, Body lotion “fresh water lily”

On the days where I don’t feel like wearing parfume I always just put a little bit of this amazing bodylotion on my neck, behind my ears and on my wrists. It smells amazing and people always ask me what I am wearing. It’s just such a lovely scent.
