english: Is red lipstick a cliche for Christmas? Nope it’s a classic. Red will forever be a holiday favorite, hell it will be a forever favorite in general. I love a red lip. Wether it’s matte, glossy, perfect or imperfect – it’s still pretty darn good. Here I have lined up 5 of my favorite red lipsticks, all different in both colors and pricing. That way there is a little something for everybody – plus this new L’oréal palette, if you would like to have more options in one buy, genius. Also I included a little carepackage for the lips. Behind a succesfull red lip lies the work of lip scrub and a great moisturizer. Don’t neglect your lips, the lipstick won’t save you. Red lipstick is so many things and suit so many different girls, you just have to find your color! Happy hunting and happy holidays!
Pretty please!
english: Oh Christmas shopping for one self is a dangerous (but necessary) event during December. When one is out on the quest of looking for presents for the loved ones it’s hard not to find a little (or alottle) for one self also. I won’t lie, my wishlist is loooong and especially my list from Zalando. All bullish*t aside, it’s more than 200 items – just imagine, a happy and wonderful closet one could have! I want to share it with you though, is there someway to make it public? Just so we could talk about it, discuss it even. I have a feeling Sebastian is getting kinda tired of getting called to the computer to see yet another pair of boots. I guess you guys understand a little better – so therefore I have made my own little wishlist here on the blog. Just for you. Maybe some of it will land under the Christmas tree? Pretty please?

Dejlig dag derude!

Here’s what you need
english: So as you can see I already applied foundation and done my eyebrows, if you would like to see how I do this – take a look here. For this look you will need all the products in the photo above, of course you can use whatever you have at home – but this is what I have used to achieve this Christmas look. There is links for everything underneath every step – enjoy!
Step 1
When I apply eyeshadow I like to have a white or flesh toned base so the other colors have a even colored surface to rest on. For this look, all the eyeshadows will be from the Modern Renaissance pallet by Anastasia Beverly Hills and the color I am using as my base is the flesh toned color “tempera”. I like to apply this step with my fingers cause then I can really melt it into my eyelid with the warmth from my hand to create the best possible base.
Here using: Eyeshadow pallet / Modern Renaissance by Anastasia Beverly Hills (shop here)
Step 2
Going into my crease with the color “buon fresco”, a warm lilac with undertones of taupe. This will be our transition color as our next step is a bit more of a bold color, we need something like “buon fresco” to compliment it but also to be our “blender”.
Here using: Eyeshadow pallet / Modern Renaissance by Anastasia Beverly Hills, brush included (shop here)
Step 3
Our bold Christmas red “red ochre” is going to be our statement color on the lid. Here you will be happy that you blended well in step 2 as these two colors will need to come together as one. I like to use a fluffy blending brush for this, try Mac 217, it’s iconic! Use “red ochre” only on the outer corner of the eyes.
Here using: Eyeshadow pallet / Modern Renaissance by Anastasia Beverly Hills (shop here), Brush / Mac 217 blending brush (shop here)
Step 4
Now to brighten up the eyes, grab the beautiful highlight color “vermeer” and place it on the center of the lid. Work your way into the corner of the eye and don’t be afraid to place a little under the corner of the eye as well. The brighter the better. Blend until you are happy with the way it looks.
Here using: Eyeshadow pallet / Modern Renaissance by Anastasia Beverly Hills, brush included (shop here)
Step 5
I like to apply my concealer after I am done playing with my eyeshadows so I can clean up any fall outs. I am quite messy when applying makeup – am I the only one? Dot along the eyes, around the nose and if you need it – apply some to the chin.
Here using: Concealer / Remedy pen in “wake up call” by Marc Jacobs (shop here)
Step 6
Setting my concealer with BB powder from L‘oréal Paris, I love to roughly smear out my concealer and then blending it, together with the powder, with the beauty blender. It’s kinda like fast baking!
Here using: Powder / BB powder in “light” by L’oréal Paris (shop here)
Step 7
This highlighter is just YUM! Use it on the top of your cheek bones and if you can’t get enough, just a little on the bridge of your nose and on your cupids bow. I only used it as shown in the photo because there is so much going on all ready and I didn’t want to over do it. But usually I am for highlighter allllll over!
Here using:
Highlighter / Creamy touch in “707” by Nilens Jord (shop here)
Step 8
Catliner is essential for a holiday look, I used a liquid liner from L’oréal Paris with just a touch of gold – it’s perfect for any party makeup. Apply mascara, and don’t worry if you make a mess, just clean it up and blend your shadow over it. Problem solved!
Here using: Liquid liner / Ultra precision super liner in “black gold” by L’oréal Paris (available in Matas), Mascara / Volume million lashes fatale by L’oréal Paris (shop here)
Step 9
Haha it looks like I ate a big sugar donut in the second photo, but don’t worry it’s just powder. For this look I choose a deep red with blue undertones for a colder look. I love the warm Christmas red, it’s a beautiful lip color but this colder red compliments the eyeshadow combination perfectly. I set the lipstick with the same powder I used under my eyes, if you want a mat finish just brush the powder off and voila! But if you want it more creamy look to your lips just apply another layer of lipstick after setting it with powder. Lasts for hours.
Here using: Lipstick / Color sensational in “divine wine 975” by Maybelline (shop here), Powder / BB powder in “light” by L’oréal Paris (shop here)
Step 10
Last but not least put a smile on your face and voila! I hope you enjoyed this holiday look and that you will have fun creating your own!

english: So happy we have a place here in Copenhagen that looks a bit like Paris because when I saw this dress I was like “I want to shoot this in Paris!” And since Paris is just a tad far away for one outfit – I went to Christiansborg. Christiansborg is home to the danish parlament and a truly amazing place to go for visit or in my case for pictures. It’s rare to see me in a completely black look and I must admit I felt almost a bit goth wearing it. But this dress from Sportmax code is just beyond beautiful and I had to shoot it regardless of it’s color. The sheer highneck is from Zara and the shoes are & Other stories – they are a new party favorite of mine, so comfortable you could dance in them all night long! A perfect and slightly dramatic Christmas look if you ask me!

english: When you are choosing your party bag, you must take it just as serious as if you were shopping for jewelry. It’s just as much a part of the outfit as the right earrings. Sparkles, velvet, embellished, filled with studs or maybe completely simple? Most girls would never wear something too loud, wild dress = less wild accessories, classic dress = wilder accessories. That’s kinda the “rules”. And I do agree with them on some level, unless of course you are not afraid to go all out on print and stones like Dolce & Gabbana in the photo above. They are known all over the world for their vivid prints and beautiful bags, and they are the best at putting it together. I guess I am pretty black n white when it comes to dressing for parties. If I choose a classic dress I also like to wear a classic bag, like the blue one from Adax. I love the chain strap and the clean front, perfekt for a night out. But if it’s a party where dancing on the tables is allowed I would go nuts for the glittery Saint Laurent bag and probably pair it with a sequin dress or something crazy printed. Nothing wrong with going all out, hope you have some wonderful holiday parties!

Win win! Dejlig onsdag derude!
english: Ahh, just another one of the many joys of winter; to wrap one self in layers and layers and nobody cares because, hey, it’s effin’ cold outside. These long Mou boots are no short of genius. They look great, they are super warm and they are available in almost any length you could desire. I love to use them on a everyday basis because you can wear them over a slightly cropped pant and then carry your little office or school shoes with you in a tote. That way you don’t have to wear big boots all day but you also don’t have to freeze your ankles of while getting where you are going! Genius I tell ya! The blazer is Sebastians and I swear it’s almost as warm as a winter parka. I don’t know what Weekday has coated this fabric with but I am never cold in it and I have a soft spot for camouflage, win win! Have a happy Wednesday!

english: Hi my loves! Happy December 1st! Don’t know what to get your loved ones (or yourself) for Christmas? I have made 3 suggestions so there is a little bit for everyone and a bit of everything! Starting here in the golden corner, how gorgeous is this big, beautiful Marc Jacobs palette? The colors are mesmerizing! And now I know that the tea calendar isn’t exactly “beauty” but seriously how beautiful is the packaging? I am going to be using it for jewelry and bits once I have finished up all the delicious tea! I hope you enjoy this little Christmas gift guide!

english: The pink corner over here, I couldn’t help myself, so many cute things for Christmas this year comes in bubble gum pink and I absolutely love it! All the things in this photo (actually all the photos) are handpicked and all great but I will have to highlight the Too faced chocolate shop, it’s absolutely beautiful and would make a dreamy gift for any girl who loves makeup!

english: To all my beauties who love a bold lip and some lashes! In this photo there is a little bit of everything, something for the hair, the face and for going out! I absolutely adore the little clutch from Marc Jacobs, once you have removed the lipsticks and the packaging on the inside you can use it with a little Christmas outfit. Genius! Also remember, on a month like this where there is a lot of parties and we have been wearing a lot of makeup it’s important to mask. Give your skin some rest – so a little mask set from Origins is a great gift both to your party animal girl friends or yourself!

I think not!
english: Green on green on green and more green! Still one of my absolute favorites to pull out of the closet! Oh and it’s almost the same color as a Christmas tree, coincidence? I think not! A ton of girls wear lace, and many do it a lot more than me. But I have to say that I am especially fond of this shirt because it got that PJ’s twist – and it’s pretty great. It’s not just a lace shirt, it’s a lace shirt with some thought to it. I would use it under a dress, with a sparkly skirt (for the Christmas party) or like here; paired up with leather. I love that it’s so unexpected.
