english: Probably the most amazing sheer pink in the world. It’s so delicate, so precious – so easy to fall in love with. Oh and it’s sherling which means that the suede on the inside of the coat is the same color. Can you say yum? YUM! Pared with check on check and a pair of midi heel sandals. I could wear this everyday.

Husk, der er ingen skam i at have uldne strømpebukser inden under sine dem! Just do it!

english: Spring in Denmark is a difficult time of year – on one hand, the sun could be shining but it is still freezing cold. On the other hand you might have grey, humid weather with uncomfortable warmth. It’s not a easy time of year to dress. I am ready to put down the winter jacket, but since it’s still chilly I love to layer my way out of the situation. Invest in a cashmere sweater, believe me it’s worth it! Cashmere is light but will keep you warm, I have styled this beautiful cashmere knit over a more budget friendly hoodie in a statement color. To add just a dash of feminin spice, a white lacy sleeve is peeking out from underneath the oversize look. Paring it all with a pair of jeans. Remember there is no shame in wearing woolen pantyhose under them! Just do it! I would say this is my perfect remix of warm and cold, high and low budget!

Hollywood forever!

english: Another thing we just had time for on Tuesday when the rain stopped, coffee. And to shoot yet another piece of clothing that had to stay in the hotelroom while Laura and I were out fighting off the weather. My new Gucci blazer. I saw this blazer last season at the Gucci showroom in Milan and was just instantly smitten. I think I went over to touch it at least 5 times in the half hour we were there. I swear my stomach hurt when I left. So when Laura and I were in Milan this time we went to the Gucci flagship store (a must visit) just for inspiration  And there it was. Oh no! Laura told me that I absolutely had to try it on because if it didn’t fit me right I could get it off my mind. A perfect point. But of course it fit me like a glove and I had to get it. It’s the biggest purchase I have ever done and I am very proud of it. Hollywood forever!

english: Paris was the wettest fashionweek in the whole of fashionweek history (I assume). It didn’t just rain, it rained in that way where there is 2 centimeters of water on the sidewalk and you are wet from the knee and down after walking 10 meters. After whole days of walking around in wet boots to shows and showroom appointments we ended up in our room, exhausted and drowning in takeaway. Luckily we had read online that it wouldn’t rain Tuesday morning so we got up super early just to shoot a little bit of material from the trip. We had to leave for the airport at 10. This outfit was actually one of my favorites and I had been saving it for Paris because I thought it would fit the city perfectly. But it unfortunately had to stay in the suitcase, I would never take a beauty like this out into the rain. And it sucks cause I was sure it would have been a hit. I styled the dress backwards so the buttons were on the back instead of the front. I am absolutely in love with the fabric used to create this dress! A true Maria favorite. BTW so happy to be home in somewhat dry Copenhagen again.

english: Milan is filled with the cutest trams, both new and old. The new ones are sleek, drive fast and are not a very pretty addition to the beautiful city. The old ones are really old. I mean SUPER old. They have brown wooden seats, brass handles and they are slow. My favorite ones are the ones that are quite retro like this one. Pastel colored seating, 60’s style windows and medium speed. These photos were taken right after our visit at Gucci HQ which is located quite far from inner Milan. Laura just loved the light blue, pastel yellow combo and had to take some photos. Its such a satisfaction when you just bump into a photo opportunity like this, I don’t like to plan absolutely everything. Right now I am just here, in my living room in Copenhagen and about to plan Paris FW this friday. It’s gonna be so much fun but it’s also so nice to be home.

Why not?

english: Ahh it feels like spring in Milan these days, the temperature is just perfect – pure sweater weather. With this outfit I wanted to show how I style my winter and summer items for spring. Just melting it together. My favorite knit pared with the jeans I just happen to hop in everytime I go somewhere and then a summer dress. It’s obviously too cold to only wear the dress yet BUT I still want to pull it out of the closet from time to time. This is how I get the most use of my summer and winter items all year round. I put it all together in one outfit. All I did was remove the chemise that comes with the dress (which is of course is quite essential when only wearing the dress) and threw it together with the rest of the look. I love the sheer effect it brings to the look.

Stay tuned.

english: “WOW SICK!” was my first thought when I entered the Maybelline content studio yesterday. I mean, I have seen studios like these in the movies. But seriously! They exist! A whole room of just windows, mirrors and makeup – every girls dream! Michelle, Emily and I got tips and tricks from makeup artist Marie Thomsen to do either our own Maybelline look or to recreate a runway look we saw during the trip. I look forward to sharing my look with you. I can say as much as I am very much in love with pink these days. Romance with an edge. Stay tuned.

english: A couple of weeks ago I did a blogpost about how to style sporty items over at Magasin’s Ajour blog and it got quite a lot of questions. “How can I then style a sweatshirt” or “can you also wear your running tights?” – Yes yes a thousand times yes! Do whatever you like, it’s your style! Because of these reactions I decided to do another outfit post where I style something else sporty. This time I went for a look where the feminine (the flowy shirt and the curls) meet a really sporty item like these pants. The Trasher T-shirt is actually a skatebord thing but it has become quite “fashion” to wear. YAY! If you would want to wear the look out just wear the white shirt and add a pair of heels. Volias! Enjoy!

english: What a wonderful weather we had yesterday! Just created the perfect picture opportunities! We bloggers always claim it’s best to photograph when it’s cloudy but I must admit I love the soft winter light. Tomorrow I am leaving for Paris with L’oréal for yet another super exciting launch! I can’t wait to show you what it is – you are going to love it! Meet my newest shirt obsession btw, I am so crazy about it! See how the stripes goes in different direction but in such a subtle way? Ah bliss! I have lived in it for weeks. I will soon return with news from Paris but until then remember you can always find me on instagram and snapchat where I will be updating constantly (@mariajernov) hugs to you!

Kom bare an vinter!

english: Ouch its cold outside – thank god for huge coats! When I was in high school I hated the cold because it meant that I had to wear my big winter coat, and that is even though I had a really nice one from Hugo Boss with real fur trim. I just didn’t like wearing it because I always had the hardest time styling it. I always felt that the coat came with me and not the other way around. That mindset has been with me ever since but then I saw this Yves Salomon coat. I decided to break the pattern! It can be done! The trick for me has been not to wear anything too tight with it. A pair of stocking for example would not have been suitable for me because I would almost achieve a bell shape with long dangly legs beneath it. That looks weird man. So I choose a pair of loose leather trousers and a big knit to compliment the volume of the coat. And of course some awesome boots. Come at me vinter!
